The climate is important to us. It is the legacy we are leaving to future generations.
In the IT industry, we have the opportunity to influence the climate and we we always work with the latest technology from an environmental perspective. This means we can be confident that all investments are good for both business and nature.
Our data center uses green electricity from renewable energy sources. As our mountain premises is a former switchgear and substation, it is ideal for data center operation. Transformers and servers have several things in common, ie they require good access to power and dislike heat or humidity. The geographical and physical position (Nordic bedrock) makes it possible to deviate from the traditional energy-guzzling cooling pumps and are instead equipped with a cooling and climate systems based on free cooling and mountain cooling.
This gives us the industry's lowest PUE ratio and a very low carbon footprint. Obviously, as this appears to even the electricity bill for the customer when the cooling load is reduced drastically.
